As Customs & Trade Compliance Specialist, your responsibilities will be as

Executive

  • Responsible for maintaining up to date and implementation of the following regional group rules: Customs
  • Offer trainings with regard to OGR’s (Omron Group
  • Ensure proper escalation and follow up of compliance incidents (in line with the OGR’s, including yet not limited to the OGR for Integrated Risk and Compliance
  • Embed trade compliance in business processes within EMEA region where OMRON conducts
  • Ensure continuous monitoring of level of fulfillment of OGRs and relevant business processes in business practice (see below processes in Customs Product Trade Compliance data Maintenance of trade Monitoring of the changes in trade compliance regulations and law; inform timely business companies about upcoming changes, assess their impact; coordinate timely implementation in Monitor changes in customs tariff and inform BC about required Review and validate customs duty calculations provided by logistics providers or customs Coordinate duty refund requests, duty corrections or additional payment requests with customs authorities and logistics providers where discrepancies in customs declarations are Act as primary point of contact with customs authorities and coordinate customs audits, including preparation, communication with authorities and follow-up on audit Support implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of trade compliance systems and ERP trade modules (e.g. SAP) to ensure accurate customs and tariff Investigate opportunities of duty savings thanks to application of FTA, where Support for BCs in escalation of product regulatory compliance Contribute to and execute trade compliance activities defined in the Annual Compliance Plan developed by the Indirect Tax, Customs & Trade Compliance Manager

    Required education, knowledge and
