Responsibilities / Tasks

As Release Management & SAP Solution Manager Consultant you are responsible for:

Release Management:

  • Develop and manage release schedules for SAP S/4 HANA System.

  • Coordinate with technical and functional teams to ensure timely and efficient Retrofit changes for three track landscape.

  • Conduct impact analysis and risk assessments for upcoming changes.

  • Define and enforce release governance processes and controls in ChaRM.

  • Monitor deployment activities and troubleshoot issues during technical cutovers and business go-lives.

  • Maintain release documentation, plans, and change logs.

  • SAP Solution Manager (SolMan):

  • Configure and manage ChaRM (Change Request Management) for end-to-end change tracking.

  • Troubleshooting experience with ChaRM setup, Test Management etc.

  • Implement and maintain ITSM (Incident and Problem Management) processes.

  • Utilize SolMan Test Suite for test planning, execution, and defect management.

  • Understand and Support Solution Documentation and Business Process Monitoring.

  • Perform technical upgrades and patches on SolMan when needed.

  • Provide training and support to end-users and project/maintenance teams on SolMan tools and processes.

  • Your Profile / Qualifications

  • Hands on and proven experience with SAP ChaRM, ITSM, and Test Suite modules.

  • Strong knowledge of SAP landscape (ECC, S/4HANA, BW, PI/PO, etc.).

  • Proficiency with SAP Solution Manager 7.2.

  • Experience with agile, DevOps, or hybrid delivery models.

  • SAP Certification on Solution Manager will be an added advantage.

  • Knowledge and experience in Cloud ALM primary setup, and conversion from SolMan to Cloud ALM.

  • Excellent English language skills, written and spoken.
